Reading Update

Previous one is here.

The Fortress of Solitude by Jonathan Lethem. A white kid grows up in a colorful neighborhood. He manages to get by, almost fits in. His neighbor and him tag DOSE and have a ring.

Motherless Brooklyn by Jonathan Lethem. Tourettes syndrom orphan and a few others taken in by Minna. Minna is killed and the search takes him into zen and a japanese oasis on the coast.

Dark Tide by Stephen Puleo. A molasses flood in Boston's North End. Very interesting, (very) local history. Gets kinda dull in the middle during the court stuff, but picks up a bit again at the end.

In the last month I've also been reading large chunks of Price Theory and Applications by Landsburg, Macroeconomics: A Modern Approach by Barro, Principles of Corporate Finance by Brealey, Myers, and Allen, and Econometric Models and Economic Forcasts by Pindyck and Rubinfield. This hasn't left a whole lot of time for reading for fun.
